Website Privacy Policy

How this informational website handles data—and the deliberate choices made to minimize collection.

Last updated: August 30, 2026

Scope

This policy applies to the public Port Care Pediatrics website. It is separate from the practice’s HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes how the practice may use and disclose protected health information in its clinical operations.

Information this website does not collect

This website currently has no contact form, patient login, appointment request form, advertising pixel, behavioral advertising, session replay, or analytics tool. It does not ask visitors to submit names, dates of birth, symptoms, photographs, insurance information, medical records, or other health details.

Technical information

The service that hosts this website may automatically receive limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security logs. Its handling of that information is governed by the hosting service’s own terms and privacy practices.

Cookies and local storage

The website itself does not currently set analytics, advertising, or preference cookies and does not store visitor data in the browser. If that changes, this policy must be updated before the new technology is enabled.

External links

Links to the patient portal, email, telephone services, directions, federal resources, or other third-party websites are governed by those providers’ own privacy practices. Opening a portal or directions link may share information with that external provider. No map or patient portal is embedded on this site.

Children’s privacy

This website is written for parents and caregivers and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children. Children should not submit personal or medical information through ordinary email or any future public website feature.

Security and health information

Ordinary email may not be secure. Do not send protected health information (PHI), symptoms, diagnoses, medications, test results, dates of birth, insurance information, photographs, or urgent concerns by ordinary email. Use the secure patient portal or call the office.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, hosting provider, vendors, or practice operations change. The revised date will appear at the top of this page.
